Rosehill Water Treatment Plant Upgrades
Procon was the Prime Contractor on this project. This project invovled an addition to the Administration Building complete with a full electrical, mechanical and instrumentation upgrade.
- Upgrades to the Low Lift Pumping Station including new electrical room addition, pumps, travelling screens, HVAC, electrical and controls systems
- Upgrades to the settling tanks including installation of new stainless-steel plates
- Upgrades to the Filters including new parallel underdrains, blower for integrated air scour and media
- Replacement of high lift and backwash pump with 7 new vertical turbine pumps
- Replacement of existing power supply and distribution system with new outdoor E-house substation (44KV metering, 2.5MVA transformer, 600V outdoor secondary switchboard) new Motor Control Centers and Distribution Panels
- Replacement of existing control system with new PLC distributed PLC control system, including plant wide network
- Construction of new Administration Building and renovation to existing admin areas
- Paving and restoration
- Commissioning and testing of new services
- Facility remained in full operation during renovation and installation of new services
