Welland Water Treatment Plant

This project consisted of the demolition and restoration of the Welland Water Treatment Plants 1 and 2. The removal of the existing pumps, process piping, valves and chemical systems to make way for the newly restored processes.

Highlighted areas of our scope of work consisted of the supply and installation of:

  • 2 x 450 HP vertical turbine pumps
  • 2 x 250 HP vertical turbine pumps
  • 48" stainless steel plant piping c/w butterfly valves and sluice gates
  • 2 x 24" UV reactors
  • Chlorination system
  • 24" stainless steel piping and valves in Valve Chambers

The new high lift plant was constructed and commissioned prior to the decommissioning of the existing plant. All works were completed without interruption to the plant processes and water supplies to the client.
