City of Hamilton SCADA Master Plan Phase I, II, IV & V

This project scope was to upgrade SCADA ICP panels throughout the City of Hamilton Water and Wastewater Stations.  Starting with a pilot project we completed more than 50 outstations and Woodward Avenue Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Procon Constructors Inc. was the prime contractor upgrading all locations without any interruption to the operations of the stations. Tasks for these sites included

  • ICP panel replacement complete with in-house panel build, FAT, SAT testing and commissioning
  • WAN panel alterations
  • Instrumentation installation and modifications
  • Motor Control Centre upgrades
  • Automatic Transfer Switch replacement
  • Process piping modifications
  • Civil works to modify building structures
  • Confined space entry
