The Port Colborne Fire Department currently operates out of two (2) fire Stations with about 80 full time and volunteer fire fighters and provides fire protection to a City of 19,000 residents and 51 square miles.
This new Fire Station and Emergency Headquarters is located across from Lock 8 on the Welland Canal and gives the crew the ability to respond to alarms on either side of the canal quickly and efficiently.
The building is modern in design and offers the firefighters a state of the art facility complete with an exercise room, chapel and dorm rooms.
